Enjoy Europe With Germany Tours

Germany is a country rich with culture and history, with proud traditions and varied scenery.  It is a neighbor to Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland – as well as France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Belgium. The capital city of Germany is Berlin.

The Berlin Wall

Many Germany Tours include the famous Berlin Wall which once separated the country into East and West.  The Berlin Wall ran across the entire country, although it was only a wall in Berlin – for much of the rest of the country it consists of just a barbed wire fence to keep some people in, and others out.

The Black Forest

The famous Black Forest of Germany can be included in your Germany tours but it is actually just a dense forest filled with big pines which inspired stories of witches and magic during the olden days. Nowadays, the Black Forest in Germany plays host to many tourists and locals who wish to bike, swim and run along with other winter sports during the season.

The Oktoberfest and Rhine Valley

The Rhine Valley is full of culture and scenery – there are castles, vineyards and cathedrals in the area, all of which are awe-inspiring to behold.  If you are interested in culture and history, or would like to add a wine tour to your itinerary, then the Rhine Valley is well worth a visit.

The Oktoberfest in Munich is a world renowned harvest festival held during the month of October.  It is a traditional celebration where farmers celebrate their crops after the harvest.  In recent years the Oktoberfest has been celebrated through beer drinking and feasting.

Most of the regions of Germany are ideal for outdoor sports and other outdoor activities. Many tourists who come to visit Germany are doubly surprised to see that the country is a vast natural resource and that it is full of beautiful mountains and lakes.

German tours vary from specific aspects of German culture to broad tours that allow you to sample a little of everything. When booking your tour, ask the travel agent which cities and regions will be included, and what sort of activities are on the list.  If you can do your own research and ask for a tour that includes certain destinations then that is even better, and you will be able to have a much more enjoyable time in Germany.

After reading this article. I would have liked to hear more about the destinations, accomodations available and where to get more information about these ones that are listed. I have heard of Oktober fest and would like to attend but I am not able to find the information that I need to attend. If anyone has this information and would like to share it that would be great.
