Enrich Your Holiday With Hawaii Tours

A Hawaii vacation can be pretty expensive – for many people, reaching the islands is a long trip, and then you have to pay for your hotel too.  However, once you're there, you need something to do – and while planning your own itinerary is fun, sometimes it is worth letting someone else show you around, and point out things you may otherwise not give a second glance.  That is where a passionate and knowledgeable tour guide comes in.

Tours For The Eco Conscious

Since the rise of eco tourism, many states and Countries have adopted this kind of visitor experience, and Hawaii has taken their exclusive opportunity to take eco tourism to another level. Because of its unique atmosphere, landscapes and cultures, Hawaii offers a one of a kind experience with these kinds of Hawaii tours.

The company Blue Hawaiian Helicopters offers tours of Hawaii that are quite eco friendly – they take you up in a helicopter, and let you see the lush landscapes from above.  Their fleet of helicopters is quite new and well maintained, so those concerned about their 'carbon footprint' don't have too much to worry about.  The tours run from $150 per person to about $300, which is great value considering the experience they are offering.

If you prefer being closer to nature, then Oahu Nature tours offer hiking tours of Oahu – you can visit some of the biggest, and prettiest, waterfalls in the world, or explore beaches, or take a trip to a bird sanctuary.  They even offer rain forest tours, and tours with an educational slant.  So no matter how adventurous you are feeling, or what your specific interests are, they should have something for you.

Wherever You Want To Go!

Most people that visit Hawaii treat it as a once in a lifetime trip, as it very well may be! Because of this, the more that can be seen and experienced during the trip, the better. Hawaii realizes this, and because tourism is #1 for their economy, they make sure there is no end to the experiences you can find on the islands.

There are lots of places you could center your tour around – the Polynesian Cultual Center is a very popular destination.  History buffs find the Pearl Harbor tours fascinating, and, if you are the more active type, you may enjoy heading to Hanauma Bay for a little snorkeling.  The choice is yours.

If you are staying long enough, you could take more than one tour, and get a truly diverse introduction to the Hawaiian islands.  You can still fit in your own trips and visits, but the knowledge of a tour guide is something that every visitor can benefit from.
