If you are looking to save money, then it is a good idea to search the web for discount airfares to Johannesburg, and compare the prices you see with quotes from a travel agent. Some web sites offer better rates if you book both the hotel room and the flight through them, so be sure to consider this option when you are looking for prices.
Also reserving a hotel stay and car at the same time as the flight purchase will also save money on the discounted airfare to Johannesburg. Before selecting a hotel, be mindful of the time of year, if vacationing during the winter months (June through August) for example the tourist should be sure to dress for the weather, the nights are very cold and few places have indoor heating.
If you decide to travel during the summer months (January to March) then remember that the weather in South Africa can be very hot, and that air conditioning is less common than it is in the USA – be sure to drink lots of water, and to stay in the shade if the heat gets too much for you.
Another money saving tip for a discounted flight to Johannesburg, South Africa is to book the flight as far in advance as possible. Many airlines will give customers a discount when they reserve their flight no later than two weeks before their planned vacation.

I was able to travel to South Africa with a school exchange program and it was amazing. Just being there you can feel the history. It was the birthplace of society and our native homeland. It is certainly a must see spot for people of African decent but also for those of us from European descent because when you look back far enough we were from there too. Not to mention that it is full of wonderful natural beaty and animals. The people were so friendly too. I had some of the best customer service ever, even better then what I've found in 5 star hotels.

Since its near to the ocean you get good, fresh winds all over the place. I love the beach and all the mountains. Since i made this jouney when i was small, i do not remember much, but i have never seen a place like capetown till now.
