St. Martin of Tours in Amityville helps others be able to read. Deborah Maguire’s seventh grade and Patricia Savish’s third grade classes participated in Classrooms Care from Scholastic Book Clubs. Each class read 100 books before November 30. The Scholastic Book Club will donate 200 books to schools in need in honor of both Maguire’s and Savish’s classes.
