The Chianti is perhaps one of the most well known Italian wines.  A wine tour in Tuscany will likely focus heavily on it, and center on Florence.  When choosing your tour, it is worth looking at the vineyards that you will be visiting, and checking the cost and how long the tour will take.

Tuscany Wine tours are usually a day long event – starting around 9 in the morning, and ending at six in the evening.  Tours start at around 200 Euros, but some can be far more expensive.  You usually get transportation and a guide for your money, and the more people that join the tour / the bigger the van, the less each person is likely to have to pay. Most of the better tours include lunch and the wine as part of the fee.  Read more
